The Encana Arena (in the Edgeworth Centre) will host the opening leg of the 2008 Doyle Cup, here in sunny Camrose, Alberta.

The first-year facility seats 2,500 and will hold over 3,000 with standing room and skyboxes included. Looking at the line-up for tickets this afternoon, this new barn will be rocking near its capacity tomorrow night.

The Edgeworth Centre also includes a gym, aquatics centre, running track and a practice rink - a multi-purpose venue, not unlike the new South Okanagan Events Centre due for completion in Penticton this Fall.

Being here in this state of the art building in Camrose is a bit preview of what we can expect next season for the Vees… And it looks fantastic!
