Today is deadline day… and a few of the biggest fish in the have yet to be hauled in by BCHL GMs.
Among the players rumoured to be on the block are Powell River’s Brooks Robinson, and Quesnel’s Trevor Hertz, but neither has been moved… yet!
With Tommy Bohmer in the final year of his contract, he’ll certainly be asking for quite a bounty for the rights to Hertz (19-years-old), and could move Raibl, Smith or Rovatti as well if things stall on the Hertz front. Stakes are high for the Mills Head Coach & GM.
Brooks Robinson a 19-year-old offensively gifted forward has gotten lost in the crowd of weapons up front on the Sunshine Coast. Many expect the son of Cowichan Coach and GM Scott Robonson to be moved, but where!?
The Vees are still waiting for approval on a deal that moves Eli Grossmann to Alberta, but nothing has been finalized yet.

The Trail Smoke Eaters have pulled off a pair of deals, moving 20-year-old adn leading scorer Chad Gehon back to Merritt for Scott Jacklin, and bringing back 20-year-old Brett Corcoran for Andrew Pickering… More on the ‘full-circle’ deals from Shawn Mullin.

The Vees have added 20-year-old forward Max Grassi from the Merritt Centennials (who acquired him from Burnaby) using their last card and 23rd roster spot on a veteran.
