It was October 11th the last time that the Vees and the Silverbacks locked horns. 3 months and change since a fight filled 6-2 win for the Silverbacks at home, that sawed off the season with each team having won twice in 4 meetings.
David Andreassen was still a member of the Vees, the Silverbacks hadn’t yet launched into top spot in the league (a distinction they now hold) nor had they garnered national attention in the CJHL rankings. It’s been a while!
Tonight’s SOEC tilt is one of four remaining on the schedule between the Interior Conference foes, with two more trips to the Sunwave Centre still remaining in the final 16 games for the Vees.
A look at the season series with the ‘backs divulges a bunch about the highest scoring club in the BCHL.
