Lots on the Centennials around the blogosphere today.

Gregg Drinnan got the ball rolling Sunday with this piece done by Mark Hunter of the Kamloops Daily News.

Brian Weibe over at Making Cents (Centennials Blog) has a different take on the situation.

Shawn Mullin’s got some good thoughts on Merritt and the aforementioned reports.

Al Glendenning wasn’t providing a rosey outlook when I talked with him in November.

After speaking with John Grisdale today it appears nothing is near official, but there seems to be some tire kicking going on in Kamloops.

The BCHL’s Interior Conference continues to garner praise from the CJHL National Rankings.

In today’s weekly release the Salmon Arm Silverbacks hold at #3, the Vernon Vipers move from #9 up a slot to #8, and the Vees garner an honorable mention for the 2nd straight week. No teams in the Coastal Conference were ranked in the top 15 or given an honorable mention in the rankings.

Apparently the All-Star rout in Vernon had little influence on the CJHL powers!

I am a bit shocked to not see Cowichan in there with the recent run they have been on, or even Powell River or Victoria as division leaders on the Mainland and Island Divisions, but then the National Rankings have never really made much sense.
