Devon Krogh, Derik Johnson, Joey Holka and Ryan Viselli were at Uplands Elementary School today on the final stop of the 2008/2009 Read to Succeed program.
The players started the day by visiting every class from Kindergarten to Grade 5. The 4 Vees read to each group, answered questions, and awed their pint-sized fans.
The day was capped with a raucous game of basketball in the gym.

The Quesnel Millionaires and Tommy Bohmer have parted ways.
The Millionaires announced today that the former Head Coach and GM has resigned, citing personal matters.
The former Penticton Assistant struggled to string wins together (as did those before him) as the club has failed to advance to the playoffs for the 6th consecutive season. Recruiting is tough in Quesnel and their facility is in dire need of replacement, which appears to be on the way in the form of a 30 Million Dollar, 2000 seat ‘Multi-Centre’ that was approved in a fall referendum in the Fall.
The Mills had lost 4 straight at the time of the announcement (the latest a 9-3 loss in Merritt on Saturday), and were officially eliminated from post season play on the weekend.
The Mills are 15-35-0-3 this season and were 42-118-0-13 all time under Bohmer.
