It had been over 4 months since the Vees last won back-to-back road games… And without 39 stops from Jordan White in arguably his finest start of the season, the drought would not have ended last night.

While the road hasn’t been kind to these young Vees of 2008/2009, they have been much better away from the SOEC of late.

Last weekend’s 6-5 loss in Westside with the shortest bench of the season built momentum on the road, and consecutive stand-out goaltending performances in Merritt and Prince George has the club confident in foreign arenas.

Tonight the Vees pass through Quesnel to wrap up their final Northern weekend of the regular season.

The Mills have been struggling mightily recently, having lost 6 straight (1 in OT), and 8 of their last 9 games. To make matters worse the team has dropped a pair to the lowly Merritt Centennials, and saw Head Coach and GM Tommy Bohmer resign earlier this week.

Another effort like the previous 3 on the road and the Vees will likley equal a season best of 3 straight road wins.
