With zero goals on the ledger, it’s time to give Matt Paltridge, Derik Johnson and Max Grassi a ribbing… Kaare Odegard narrowly escaped the gauntlet by scoring his first as a member of the Vees on Wednesday!

The Vernon Vipers have inched higher in the ‘quirky’ CJHL National Rankings.
Pick up the phone immediately if you have designs on attending the Annual Vees Awards Banquet and Celebration. Talk to Bruce Judd at (250) 493-VEES (8337) for your tickets to the event at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. Cocktails @ 5:00, Buffet @ 6:00, Ceremonies @ 7:00. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Tonight on ‘Boston Pizza Vees This Week’ Al Formo stops by to preview the aforementioned Awards Ceremony, I’ll issue another release of the world renowned Intrerior Conference Power Rankings, we’ll hear from Andy Moog who was in town last week, and of course highlights from last week’s Vees action. Catch the show from 6-7 on EZ Rock AM 800, in the BCHL’s Fanzone, or at MyEZRock.com
A busy week is underway for the Penticton Vees. 4 Games, 1 Banquet, 2 Road Games & 3rd Place in sight. Puck drop is 7PM in Vernon tomorrow, 7:00 in Merritt, and 7:05 for the final home games of the year against Salmon Arm (Friday) and Vernon (Saturday).
Alumni of the week is Trevor Nill who recorded his first point (an assist) since November 1st on a weekend where the struggling Spartans took two wins (1 in OT) from the Ohio State Buckeyes (home of former Vees Zac Dalpe and Cory Schneider). Michigan State has just 6 wins in 24 games this season.
