** Coach’s Corner is back on tonight at the Kettle Valley Station Pub. We’ll get things started at 5:30 as the Great Big Sea concert will have the Pub pretty busy towards 7:00.

Fred Harbinson will be chatting about Parents Weekend, we’ll get reaction to a couple of deals that have been made in the last few days in the BCHL, a preview of the three games the club will play this weekend, and we’ll see what kind of shape the Vees blue-line is in with Bo Dolan out until January with a lower body injury.
** Matt Ridley has been traded to Salmon Arm for Mike Puddifant. The Silverbacks are the 19-year-old defender’s 4th team in just over a calendar year. Ridley played in Cowichan, Penticton, and Burnaby prior arriving in the Shuswap.

Staying with the purple people, Jagger Dirk has left the Silverbacks for the Chicago Steel of the USHL. The Silverbacks are trying to negotiate compensation for the 16-year-old offensive D-man. Dirk was getting lots of ice time in Salmon Arm this season, not sure why he’d choose to leave.
** The Forsythe Brothers are out in Merritt. No word on who what when where how why, but this doesn’t look like a stable organization. Brian Wiebe is all over the changes at the appropriately named ‘Making Cents’ blog.

** The Quesnel Millionaires have made a pair of deals looking to stir up some offense. The Millionaires have added a pair of forwards - Jacob Verheyden (‘89) (previously of Merritt and Burnaby) was brought in from Manitoba, while Clayton Chessa (‘91) was added from Surrey.
Jacob Verheyden is back in the BCHL
