* David Crompton wraps up the Vees season quite nicely with his piece in the Penticton Herald from locker clean out day.
* Penticton Western News Sports Guy Emmanuel Sequiera caught some great video from Game 5 in Vernon with the Vees preparing before taking the ice and also the club's celebration after Manderson's 3OT winner.
The Vernon Vipers are set to host the Powell River Kings in Game 1 of the Fred Page Cup on Friday night from the Wesbild Centre. I'll be heading up to check out the action, but until then chew on this tasty preview from BCHL.ca
I've heard rumours that Penticton is a possible destination for the 2010 World Jr. A Challenge that runs in November. Let's just say that meetings with folks at the SOEC regarding the WJAC are beyond preliminary.
