The Acadian Mechanical Three Stars are awarded following each Game on EZ Rock AM 800.
Here’s a look at the 3 Star standings for the 2009/2010 season (3 points are awarded for a 1st Star, 2 for a 2nd Star and 1 point for a 3rd Star.)
We use the 3 Stars from the Vees broadcast for these standings, not necessarily the same at the 3 Stars from the BCHL boxscores.

Easy Vees Fan!!!
Whoa Cowboy/Cowgirl!
These are the 3 stars from the radio broadcasts, not the three stars that are on the BCHL’s Game Sheets.
The problem with the BCHL stars is you get ‘homers’ picking the stars. Like a team winning in OT getting all three stars or losing but getting 2 of the 3 stars.
This happens all the time, thus Al Formo and myself doing our own stars.
I can fax copies of the broadcast 3 stars if needed!
May I recommend decaf?!

as i said i really wasn’t trying to be a smart— i really didn’t know how they were picked, i really was asking a question! not a cowboy or cowgirl just a true blue hockey fan.
